How do I add a new habit?
Tap the floating "+" button on the home screen, enter your habit name, choose an emoji, and select an audio file for your reward. You can record your own audio or choose from our sample sounds.
Can I use my own audio files?
Yes! You can record custom audio messages directly in the app or import audio files from your device. Personal motivational messages often work best for building lasting habits.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your streak will reset, but don't worry! The key to building habits is consistency over perfection. Just start again the next day and focus on building a new streak.
How do I delete a habit?
Long press on any habit card and select "Delete" from the menu. You can also edit habit details by selecting "Edit" from the same menu.
Can I turn off the audio during certain hours?
Absolutely! Go to Settings and enable "Mute During Sleep Hours". You can customize your sleep schedule so the app won't play audio rewards during those times.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes! All your habit data and audio files are stored locally on your device. We don't collect or share any personal information. Your privacy is our priority.
🔧 Troubleshooting
Audio isn't playing when I complete habits
Check your device volume and ensure the app has permission to play audio. Also verify that "Mute During Sleep Hours" isn't active if you're using the app during your configured sleep time.
The app crashes when I try to add audio
Make sure the app has permission to access your microphone and media files. Try restarting the app and checking your device's available storage space.
My habits aren't syncing between devices
Currently, VoTrack stores data locally on each device for privacy. Cloud sync is planned for a future update with end-to-end encryption.
